Channel 4 released a documentary, Sri Lanka’s killing fields: War crimes unpunished. The documentary is a sequel to the first one that was aired last year. The latest documentary reveals atrocities that were committed by the Sri Lankan government and its armed forces. We, as TYO members, helped promote the documentary through leafleting and social sites. Around seven members, from North West & South East, spent time handing out leaflets to passers-by in Uxbridge, Wembley, Watford and Kings Cross. Many passers-by were receptive and understanding, which in turn motivated the members to work harder and hand out as many leaflets as possible.
