Keen to help nurture academic and career excellence in Tamil children a few years below them, organisers said they hoped to show Tamil children and parents the wide array of opportunities available to school leavers including engineering, aviation, medicine, physiotherapy, multimedia design, social work, and political science to name but a few.
Inviting representatives of various careers to talk about their work, attendees were given advice and encouragement on how to excel in their chosen field, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
As with previous such events, including those organised last year by Thisaigal and TYO-UK, attendees and their parents left impressed by the experience, encouraging members of the respective organisations to continue in their work to promote educational excellence.
