Thirukkural. Many of us in today’s society come across different life situations. Do we base them upon anything? The Thirukkural expounds on various aspects of life and is one of the most important works in the Tamil language; it is a master piece of Tamil literature with the highest purest expressions of human thought. Having been translated in over 60 languages of the world, its ethics and values are applicable to all religions, countries and time.
TYO endeavours to preserve, promote and nurture our cultural heritage by initiating and sustaining our involvement within the Tamil community. Part of this proposal includes implementing educational programming to promote awareness and pass on our identity as Tamils onto the next generation in an appropriate manner, hence TYO’s introduction to Katka Kasadara.
